Welcome to Class

Eric Carle

We are a morning Nursery group. Our session runs from 08:45am to 11:45am.

Our class Teacher is Mrs Patel. We are supported by Miss Navsarka, Mrs Akhalwaya, and Mrs Nasir.

We plan lots of fun, engaging actvities which may mean that your child will come home splattered with paint or water as they will be busy exploring the nursery environment. Please ensure your child has a bag full of spare clothing if needed.

Book Swap

Children get to choose a book to take home from our Library each week. This is a book for you to share together. Please ensure that you use this time together to develop your child's book handling skills. For example, holding the book the correct way round, turning the pages one a time and looking after the books. We will be swapping your child's book on Tuesdays and Fridays, each week. 

PE

PE will take place on Friday morning. Please ensure your child comes dressed to school in appropriate clothing and footwear. 

Phonics 

We deliver daily phonics sessions as per the Little Wandle Phonics scheme. Children will begin their phonics sessions once they have settled into Nursery and are ready for their teaching input.
