Last Week, we had read the story, The Colour Monster. We met the monsters: happpy, sad, angry, scared, calm and love.

We talked about the different feelings we all may have. We practised recognising the different feelings through associating it with colour, and imitating different facial expressions.

Meet the Colour Monsters: 

To help us with our learning, we took part in many fun and engaging activities. Some of these were: 

• Collaging Colour Monsters
• Using loose parts to make different facial expressions
• Vehicle mark-making in paint and shaving foam
• Placing coloured pom-poms onto each Numicon
• Practised using different tools to mould playdough
