English

In English we have continued our Poetry theme and created our own Windy Day Poems. We are becoming really skilled at adding adjectives to our nouns. We performed our poems to the rest of the class and Key Stage 1 in an Assembly.

Maths

In Maths our Year 1s  have been working on their number bonds to 10 using lots of different resources.

 

Our Year 2s have been using their number bonds to 10 to help them work out number bonds to 100.

 

History

This week we have continued our Black History Month celebration and looked at the fantastic work the footballer Marcus Rashford has done to help reduce food poverty in the UK  as well as score lots of goals for Manchester United and England!!

 

Science

Our Year 1s have taken part in an exciting Blindfold challenge where they had to touch, taste or smell a variety of mystery objects. Our Year 2s have taken part in an Exercise Challenge which they will be continuing for homework

 

Art

In Art we have been looking at the artist Zaria Forman , inspiring us to create our own collaborative pieces of art based upon a water theme.
