This week we have created our own amazing Dragonland adventures. We used a story mountain and storyboard to plan our ideas and then we spent the rest of the week writing our wonderfully imaginative stories.

 

Maths

Our Year 1s have been finding and making number bonds to 20 and looking at doubles.

Our Year 2s have been working upn the topic of money, counting in coins and notes.

 

Science

We  have been real scientists this week...our Year1s testing the absorbency of materials and our Year 2s testing stretchiness.

 

Geography

We have been locating the four countries of the Uk and their capital cities.

Design and Technology

Inspired by our class text we have designed and created our own DragonLand moving story book complete with a slider mechanism.

 

PE 

We have been continuing with our teambuilding and yoga lessons.

RE

We have talked about how babies are welcomed in the Muslim Faith

 

Music

We have looked at pitch and tempo.
