This week in our English lessons we have used the video Soar as a stimulus.Our children have loved watching the adventure unfold, creating predictions, charcter descriptions and narative descriptions. The children thought of some amazing questions to ask Lucas the pilot and the hot seating was fantastic.

In maths our Year 2s continued our work on multiplcation and division, making equal groups by sharing out a group of objects. We then moved on to divide by 2, using our knowledge of grouping and sharing to help us to solve problems using the two times tables. 

Our Year 1s have continued with  measuring and comparing Mass. 

We created our very own rockets using the instructions provided and took part in an exciting Rocket launch on the school field.

In History we learnt about the Wright Brothers and Bessie Coleman- please ask your children to explain to you why they were such important people in history.

Thank you to all who kindly donated bulbs, seeds or compost to school which allowed us to have a lovely friday afternoon in the sun planting!!
