1st Week of Nursery - WC 4th September 2023

Hope you all had an amazing summer holiday.

The entire Nursery team have been so excited to meet the children in our class!

 

Children in our class have had a staggered start to Nursery to help them ease into their 1st week. They had been very brave! During the week, they had been busy exploring the areas of provision, both indoors and outdoors. They had also begun familarising themselves with their class peers, as well as teachers. 

You can have a look at the class blogs each week to see what wonderful learning has been happening in Nursery.

 

Things to remember: 

• Please ensure your child has a bag full of spare clothing, and nappies/pull-up's if needed.
• Ensure your child brings a water bottle to Nursery every day.
• For book swap, we reccomend your child brings a book bag. A book bag can be purchased from the office at a small cost. Books will be changed on Tuesdays and Fridays, each week.

 

Phonics

Phonics will be taught through the Little Wandle Phonics Scheme. Teaching will begin once the children are well settled into Nursery, and ready to take on their daily Phonics input.
