World Book Day

  

Happy World Book Day!

On Thursday 4th March it is World Book Day. Unfortunately, we can’t all be in school to celebrate this together. However, here are a few activities that you can take part in at home to celebrate the joy of reading! Your class teachers will have also set various Home Learning Challenges for you to complete either on Purple Mash or in your Home Learning Packs. You have also been send a £1 World Book Day voucher, which you can spend at local supermarkets (e.g. ASDA, Sainsbury’s and Tesco).

Please see below for links to various audio books and videos you can watch/ listen to during the course of the day. There are also links for you to have a ‘sneak peek’ at the different World Book Day books you can buy.

Listen to a selection of audiobooks. These will be available between 18th February - 28th March, and are available for different age ranges.  

 

 

Bring Reading to Life - Authors talking about their stories

This will be shown live on Thursday 4th March, between 10:30am-11:00am.
