All the children in school took part in Sports Relief activities in school. Everyone - children and teachers - arrived at school dressed in sports kit and enjoyed taking part in a Mini Mission activity zone set up in the school hall. There was a Penalty shoot out, Basket Ball, hurdles and even a space hopper trial.
Key Stage One children then walked a mile around the school grounds and Early Years children completed a half mile walk. Not only did we have fun, but we learnt how to keep fit and healthy too!
Parents were asked to make a donation if they wished to on the day. All monies raised were sent to Sports Relief to be used to transform lives across the world’s poorest communities. This helped children to think of others and develop a sense of empathy and responsibility as citizens of this world.
